Why should we care more for – or rather, be more concerned with – woods, from those close to home to those on the other side of the planet?<\/p>\n

In this exclusive video-interview for humus\u00ae, Antonio Perazzi, landscape architect, botanist and writer, lists the reasons for this necessary concern; he also explains how woods grow, and what is their function in the natural ecosystem, which we are also a part of.<\/p>\n

There are many ways of cooperating with the woods, introducing them into the urban environment and supporting their development: Perazzi talks about his particular method, which respects wild settings, and illustrates some of his projects, including the urban forest being implemented at the BIM Bicocca in Milan.<\/p>\n
